Shihan Rahul Tripathi founded SKCI-India on 5th March 2014. He holds 7th Dan from Japan and Shotokan Karate Council International. He was born on 28 January 1986 in the small town of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. He started his Karate training at the age of 13. Because of financial problems, his family moved to Delhi. Along with his Karate training he has also completed Bachelor in Commerce degree from Delhi University. Although there were countless problems in his life, Rahul Sensei was continued his Karate training and made Karate a part of his life. After completing Sho-Dan's degree, he started teaching Karate

in 2002. He always focused on the traditional values of Karate and says that "Karate

is not about winning the competitions, Karate lies in daily training with a goal

to develop in parallel a strong body and mind and furthermore to contribute to society in general; the Karate-do we practice has for essential purpose to attain a correct control of body and mind”.
